So, why have you launched Fairbuds XL?

With the launch of Fairbuds XL, we are bringing sustainability to the headphone category. This means that we are incorporating our known core features and are raising the bar on impact for people and planet once again!

It is our mission to establish a viable market for sustainable consumer electronics. We recognize the demand and changing technology on the market. Many of the same problems around e-waste and issues in the supply chain that we see with smartphones, also apply to audio products.

What is the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature?

The Fairbuds XL have a dedicated button to drown out all distractions if things get a little noisy. Actively cancel out the noise with the ANC button above the joystick on the right earcap. A crisp “Noise-canceling” voice prompt will notify you of the active noise cancellation kicking in!

What is the battery duration and battery capacity?

The Fairbuds XL battery capacity is 750 mAh, which can last up to 30 hours with the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) turned off, and up to 26 hours with the ANC turned on! So you can use them for multiple days without charging them.

What warranty do you offer on the headphones?

There is a standard 2-year warranty on the headphones. That said, due to the modular design and the repairability, we expect the headphones to last a lot longer than two years. The warranty covers all structural parts but excludes the vegan-leather headband, the ear cushions and the battery.

Can I use the headphones without using Bluetooth, like with an audio cable?

Yes, you can! If you do not have a compatible cable or a USB-C to audio jack transformer, you can buy them in our webshop.

In addition, you can use them with a cable when they run out of battery or when you remove the battery. Note that the ANC functionality will not work without a battery, as it needs the headphones to be turned on.
