Android without Google
/e/OS has removed many pieces of code that send your personal data to remote servers without your consent. Data in your phone or in your cloud space won’t be scanned, and your location won’t be tracked either. With /e/OS, nobody will be collecting what you’re doing with your apps.
Privacy-rated apps
/e/OS comes with open-source apps to cover most of your needs, but you can still run most of your favourite Android apps. You can check if each application respects your personal data with /e/OS’ privacy score. It analyses each app for you and gives them a score from 0 to 10.
One account for your privacy
/e/OS is synchronized with a free account with your email address that ends with "@murena.io". You get 1GB of free and private storage, convenient backup and access for your mail, calendar, contacts, documents, tasks and notes.
Keep control of trackers and ads
See trackers found in apps and choose if you accept or not to stay tracked, along with other features such as hiding your IP address or geolocation. This, combined with the ad blocker enabled by default in the web browser, will let you have a digital life with very few or no ads in applications and on the web.
